We test what we install before we leave and record the results on your certificate. This is the paperwork you'll receive.

  • EICElectrical Installation CertificateFor new circuits, consumer unit changes and rewires. Notifiable work is registered with building control through NICEIC.
  • MWCMinor Works CertificateFor additions and alterations to an existing circuit, like an extra socket or light.

For landlords

EICRs for rented homes

Landlords in England must have the electrical installation in each rented home inspected and tested at least every five years. The rules have covered private lettings since 2020 and were extended to social housing in December 2025.

  • 28 daysGive existing tenants a copy of the report.
  • Move-inGive new tenants a copy before they move in.
  • 7 daysSend a copy to the council if they ask for one.
  • 28 daysFinish remedial work, or sooner if the report says so.

We carry out the inspection, explain every code in plain English and quote for any remedial work. When the work is done you get written confirmation to pass to your tenants and the council.

Housing associations, agents and contractors

An electrical contractor for social housing and managed blocks

We have delivered responsive repairs and void works for London housing associations through repairs platforms such as Plentific. We work to your job tickets and upload photos and certificates so jobs can be closed without chasing.

Social housing EICRs

Existing social tenancies must be inspected by 1 November 2026, then at least every five years. We can take on inspection batches and the C1 and C2 remedials that follow.

    We quote from photos or a visit, and you have the price in writing before any work starts.

  3. Work and testing

    We carry out the work to BS 7671 and test every circuit we have worked on.

  4. Certificate

    You get your certificate. For notifiable work, NICEIC registers it with building control and you receive a Building Regulations compliance certificate.
